"Who runs the world? GIRLS!" - Beyoncé

WOMEN'S History Month

March is the beginning of Women’s History Month and Green Dot Public Schools TN is paying tribute to all of the women who make our world and schools come alive daily. This is an opportunity to acknowledge the accomplishments women have made, from inventions to Vice President, from medicine to motherhood. Thank you!

Employee Appreciation
GDPST would like to honor our employees for leading green.
They have been All About the Students, continuing to do everything possible educate students throughout this challenging time.
Our employees have been TEAMSTRONG, filling in wherever needed to ensure school operations have not ceased when schools were hardest hit by the pandemic.
Our employees Own It. From school operations to WIDA testing, our employees take pride in being consistent and thorough for students.
Every day, we will continue to STRETCH IT and GET IT RIGHT to continue making Green Dot Public Schools TN one of the best workplaces in Memphis and Tennessee.
Growing Your DOT

Green Dot Public Schools TN believes in acknowledging talented individuals and rewarding their efforts with praise and promotion. Our goal as an organization is to provide every opportunity for Green Dot employees to grow their DOT. We are excited to name Jasmine Jackson the new Director of Academics beginning July 1, 2022. Jasmine is no stranger to GDPST, serving as a teacher, teacher leader, and instructional coach and we can’t wait to move the academic mission forward with her leading the way.

Meet Jasmine:
Jasmine Jackson is a native Memphian who joined GDPST in 2016. Prior to joining GDPST, Jasmine taught Reading and ELA for grades 5-8 for three years. During her time as an English Teacher at Wooddale Middle School, she continuously honed her craft by serving in various teacher leader roles such as Advisory Lead, Summer School Coordinator, Professional Development Lead Teacher, and Curriculum Lead Teacher. This led to her advancement into the role of ELA Curriculum Specialist (6-12). Jasmine is a devoted educator who drives the GDPST mission by remaining an advocate for innovative and equitable instructional practices that create a space for all students to thrive and enjoy the learning process.
