For the fourth year in a row, Green Dot Public Schools submitted proposals for our educators, leadership team and staff to lead panels and workshops at SXSWedu’s annual conference in Austin, TX. Once a year, educators from around the country come together to connect, discover best practices and share how to best serve students.

Green Dot has submitted four panels for the SXSWedu 2019 conference and we need your help to make sure our panels get chosen! Create an account with SXSW and vote for Green Dot’s panels. Your votes can help ensure that our panels are chosen and that Green Dot will once again have a strong presence at the most prominent education conference in the country.

Earlier this year, Green Dot led two panels at SXSWedu: Dr. Megan Quaile, our Executive Director of Green Dot Tennessee, and Jocquell Rodgers, Director of Community Engagement in TN, led a discussion about the five keys to transforming schools; Marco Petruzzi, Chief Executive Officer, and Larry Fondation, Executive Director of United Parents and Students, led a panel Green Dot’s unique approach to successfully supporting community advocacy.
