Addressing Barriers to Learning

For 20 years, we’ve been dedicated to eliminating the barriers that threaten our students’ success and will continue to do so. Of the 15,000 students we serve across California and Memphis, an overwhelming number lack computer or internet access at home. To ensure that our students can continue their journeys towards successful futures, we’ve invested in laptops and wifi hotspots for all Green Dot students in need.

Access to Food and social services

The health crisis has threatened food security for the most vulnerable populations. Though our school buildings remain closed, our responsibility to serve our students, families, and communities remains a top priority. To date, our schools have served over 80,000 meals and we continue to connect families throughout our network with local food resources.
