Marco Petruzzi, Green Dot’s National CEO, in partnership with Scott Sargrad from the Center for American Progress, will participate in a panel titled, “Advocating for Students: ESSA Implementation.” As experts in public education leadership, Marco and Scott invite attendees to explore tangible, effective policy solutions being implemented in accordance with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
Dr. Cristina de Jesus, Green Dot’s California CEO, will host “Professional Development: Beyond the Buzzwords,” to engage educators in a conversation about how professional development can build school leadership and inspire student success. Cristina will share Green Dot’s inclusive, data-driven approach to reimagining professional develop across the nationwide school network. SXSWedu is an annual conference focusing on innovations in learning. SXSWedu occurs at the Hilton Downtown Austin and Austin Convention Center. Like other SXSW festivals, SXSWedu seeks to converge the wide variety of stakeholders who share an interest in 21st Century innovation and best practices.
